The second set of LiFePo4 cells came from China and got installed quickly, again in a custom fiberglass battery box, holding the cells so tight, it is hard to get them back out.Now we have
- 480 Ah LiFePo4 battery which will do most of the work for any house loads
- 450 Ah AGM battery, conventional batteries, only needed when above is close to empty, like two rainy days.
plus a separate engine starter battery, and additionally a battery for the anchor windlass.
