We were hauled on 9/12. This boat yard uses cradles on wheels, we are on the largest cradle with 6 wheels. At high tide the cradle gets pushed in the water, one drives the boat on it, centers the boat in the cradle with lots of lines. A pulley mechanism pulls boat and cradle up the ramp, boat settles on keel, ropes get adjusted to keep boat vertical. Once the cradle+boat is up the ramp, it gets pushed by tractor to the working space. The pressure wash got most of the grime off. We contracted the yard to sand down the old bottom paint and put on the new paint. In the mean time we are caring for the exterior wood and try to keep the boat clean, lots of dust. This weekend, with less work going on and much less dust, we deep cleaned the sides and put a few coats of Poliglow wax on.
We hope to be back in the water by mid week.
