Labuan II

We enjoyed Labuan, a lot. The marina is close to the center of the city, which feels very safe to stroll around, any time, day or night. Enjoying Malay, Indian and Chinese Cuisine was a treat. Every night there was some kind of show on a public place, anything from Karaoke to Rock to Chinese opera.

While we accomplished to shorten our to-do list, there is always more to be done. The local markets are great: Fish, meet, even pork, vegies, fruit, spices tease all senses.

Dirk had another small kidney stone event. We visited a local private clinic. Nothing urgent, the doctor said, but you should have this checked out in one of the bigger cities where they have better equipment. That is what we will do. This visit cost us $27 for a simple blood test, urine test, doctors consultation, a course of antibiotics, painkillers and some urine alkalinizer.

With the last laundry drying, we have cleared out for a sail to Miri/Borneo/Malaysia.
