Gloucester, MA

The winds aren't playing out for us, doesn't look like much sailing for the next 5 days (maybe Wednesday and Wednesday night). We'll make short motoring hops along the coast, going North. Today we reached Gloucester, MA.

The anchorage is tiny, but we were early and were able to find a good spot in the middle. After a quick walk around town and a little shopping we went back to the boat and repaired the aft-head. Dirk had uses a little too much force when pumping, the white disc should be one piece, not three:

The head repair went smooth. We were able to get a gallon of vinegar pumped through before dis-assembly and all parts smelled spring fresh. We had the needed part on board and we now have two working heads again.

For the Germans: On a boat, the head is the toilet! English is weird....

The day ended with a great fish dinner at "Passports" and a few beers at "Latitude 43" with Jan and Norm from "s/v Bandersnatch"
