Manatees / Lake Worth

We made it over the bar at high high tide in the morning. We need 6 ft and saw 6.7 ft.(Eine Handbreit Wasser unter dem Kiel)

Today we finally saw some manatees. Not much to see from above the waterline, round body, round nose, no fin, so not a dolphin ;-) No pictures.

On the ICW we passed Jupiter Island, must be one of the richest places, the boats, the houses, incredible.

We are anchored on N Lake Worth, just of North Palm Beach.

As a reminder, here is the webpage with the position reports for the last 3 months: http://www.winlink.org/dotnet/maps/PositionreportsDetail.aspx?callsign=kd8dhp

http://shiptrak.org/?callsign=kd8dhp shows more past positions, but loads much slower.

Plan for tomorrow: Sleep in. Get the boat ready for the ocean: Jacklines, dinghy on deck, (alle Schotten dicht). Move the boat 4 miles, close to the inlet. Start at 23:00. We should reach the Little Bahama Bank via Memory Rock or White Sand ridge after first daylight (distance from the inlet: 50Nm). Continue to Great Sale Cay during daylight (another 53Nm).
