After a last cleaning up, filling water and emptying trash, we left the dock and headed 4 miles down the St Lucie River. We are 2 miles from the sandbar at the entrance of the St Lucie River and will pass early tomorrow during high-high tide (almost full moon) at 9:00 am. From there we hope to make it to Lake Worth on Monday.
Daylight savings time is back. Sunset was 19:25, pretty dark at 20:00, but a full moon, very light winds. Bats and dolphins play, comfortable.
The next week's wind forecast doesn't look promising. We might just motor across the gulf stream to the Bahamas at very light winds (5-10knts). We will have full moon, so a run at night should be pretty.
