While still in Suva, a Chinese "Missile Tracking Ship" Yuang Wang 6 was in the harbor.
A believable rumor on the ground says it is also a spy-ship and the military vessels from Fiji and NZ would have turned off their electronics. The French warship left instead...
We had to leave Suva, a major delivery of 'stuff' would come soon by air to Fiji, which we then have to pick up in Vuda Marina.

So we motored to the west side of Viti Levu in three day hops. The only memorable event was a small group of Melon-headed whales, lazily swimming in the flat sea.
We first headed to "Musket Cove" on Malolo Lailai, a small island 15nm southwest of Vuda Marina. The main task was to clean the bottom after having sat in murky waters in Savusavu and then Suva.
It also is always a bit windier there than at Vuda, which makes for cooler nights and better sleep.
The Musket Cove Yacht Club Bar is always there after boat chores for some libations and a pizza, and to watch a sunset.
By end of March we made our way into Vuda Marina, past the many small islets dotting the sea.
