After having done the Sevusevu in Daliconi, we were free to roam in the "Bay of Islands". It really is a tiny area, we wouldn't want to be here when some dozen boats are anchored during the height of cruising season. We were a total of three boats, but the islets keep us from seeing each other, most of the time.
The shallower areas are nice to explore by dinghy, kayak, paddleboard.
We found a few areas to be revisited with snorkel gear.
And we actually found a beach, tiny but pretty.
Despite rather warm water, the coral looked pretty healthy.
Main attraction here were the many colorful tubeworm, hiding in the coral. Each has a pair of "christmastree" fans out its aft end, which they quickly retract inside (make it disappear) when they feel threatened.
