This is a one mile long sandy beach to anchor protected from anything but north winds. It can be very windy here, there is a gap in the mountains of the Baja peninsular and that seems to drive sand up the mountains. What looks like a dune here is a rocky mountain, but has sand shoveled up from the beach by these gap-winds.
