Isla Partida, the island shown, is one of the stepping stones heading north. A protected anchorage from any wind direction but north.
Away from the internet, we are tuning our daily schedule to available resources for information: HF radio voice nets, NOAA APT weather pics from polar orbiting sats, weatherfaxes work rather well too, grib files and text weather forecasts via SSB/PACTOR. Plenty of geekdom to keep us busy.
The kayaks are our go to transportaion in the anchorages now, his and hers, the dinghy may feel a bit neglected...
