Around Isla Monserrat

There isn't much protection to anchor in at this island. But a few windless days made it possible to stay a couple of nights at the north end of Isla Monserrat.

This island is a bit further out, surrounded by deep water channels and we hoped for some clear water for snorkeling.

Because of the 'yellow' cliffs, the anchorage is called Yellowstone Beach
into the cliffs

into the water, see all those little fish?

do you see them now?

The highlight: A Zebra Moray Eel

Some nice coral too

After each snorkel, often a longer dinghy ride away, we explored the many beaches and valleys.

Ready to fight? This "Sally Lightfood Crab" did stand its ground for a long time.

Just another Arroyo begging to be explored, and we did!
