The whales that is. We sure enjoy them coming thru the anchorage.

A week ago, coming from San Blas, we had a less friendly experience. Silvie spotted some whales a mile away and we steered towards them. Two moms with calves were doing circles, and we respectfully kept our distance, we thought. Then one Mom decided to show the kid how to chase a sailboat. They turned behind us and started swimming a straight line towards our stern. Ok, time to get out a here. We gave what we had, but they kept the pace to 8knts. A few minutes later they veered away.
