San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico

On the way to San Blas we had some more whales.... and no they do not get boring :-)

We are close to half moon, with that the tides aren't strong, no strong ebb, but also no real high tide. A friend who was here before gave us a gps track, plus he went there again just a week earlier and reported depths. All in all it was no big deal, 11ft of water over the river entrance with no significant swell.

Following the bends up the river was a mix of following buoys and the gps track, plus avoiding the local fishing guys hanging around where it is deepest..

Later, the turn into the docks is more dicey with ~9ft and a shallow sand bar right behind the docks. Taking the turn into the slip a bit too tight caused a little scratch and needed a few helpers on the dock to avoid more...

But, we have landed safely, we are here, and are now preparing for the haul out.
