Nothing wrong with Tacos, Tostadas, Burritos, etc. Dirk's current favorite dish is Chiles rellenos. It is 'just' a stuffed pepper. But it is a Mexican pepper, albeit they call it a mild pepper.

It has been hot. We don't mind daytime hot, as long as we can sit in some shade and have a breeze. But the nights.... We spare you pictures of heat rashes developing. We have been tempted to buy a window-AC unit and make whatever modification necessary to stuff it in the companionway, as some have done here to their boats. Worse, the marina has running water only every other day, if that. A hose-down every so often is rather welcome.
We get the hint, August is maybe not the right time to be here. Rainy season is coming, we had a few good rains already. Cloud cover and rain will be increasing in September. Humidity will go up though. Not sure we get much boat work done in September either...
