War games?

Last night we heard the unmistakable sound of a helicopter, no it was more than one. Having seen too many war movies, they sounded like in Apocalypse Now. No lights, the sounds closed in. With a little moonlight behind clouds we were able to see the silhouettes of three helicopters, coming down the river and cross over to the other side. Ok, whatever, war games...

Today a small boat came by, and went towards shore a few hundred yards downriver. People put on fins, but stood around in shallow water, pointing up the trees. Then we heard sounds from a small caliber gun, more like bird shot. We have observed hunters in Palau shooting large bats at daytime, but we haven't seen large bats here. Not sure what they were after.

Later, this guy came down the river, WTH?
