Bequia, Grenadines

Our New Years Eve in the Tamarind Hotel in Canouan was drinks only (still $114), we partied with crews from other boats and pilots of Lear-jets, who were flying guests to/from the mega-yachts.

This morning, weighing anchor, the anchor was stuck good, we broke a shear pin in the anchor windlass. That's a 1/2 day job for the two of us, including prep and clean up. Guess what we will be doing tomorrow....

We sailed to Bequia, hard on the wind, a bit rough from current, wind, and swell. Open ocean has an easier motion than these inter-island stretches. This is high season for charter boats and mega-yachts, the anchorage is full with all kind of crafts.
