The gloves are off .... on the way to St Helena

... at least during day time.

It was a cold few days to start. Plenty of wind and tall waves from behind, for the first 2 days, then wind and sea mellowed and we are cruising comfortably at around 5-6 knots. The cold Benguela current gives us low hanging clouds at night, but so far we have avoided any fog. Before lunch, the sun burns through the clouds, time and we have beautiful sailing, even warm, during the day. At night we still bundle up, but it is getting better by the day.

We had to repair a little rip along the leech-line of the main sail. The next sailmaker will have to follow up with a proper patch. The sail is back up and we are sailing in "butterfly" configuration.

1000 miles to go, to St Helena.
