A week in Tahiti

This week went by fast. Papeete is your typical larger city, good public transportation, lots of shops, restaurants, traffic and noise.

Nothing wrong with that, it is the crossroads in the South Pacific. We spent days hunting for parts, like hinges for a table, special bulbs, filters, fishing equipment, etc. We had some luck sourcing the most needed things.

One could spend much more time here, exploring the mountains and bays of Tahiti. But we want to move on and spend our time around the less inhabited Society Islands, like Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora. Moorea is next.
