Anchored in Thompson Bay, Long Island

We left Georgetown with half incoming tide. Between the reefs we motor-sailed with just the main up. A couple of hours later the wind shifted from SE to S to SSW and we were able to sail for 4-5h.

We did drag lures and caught a small barracuda. No, we don't eat no barracuda. After we took a picture, including it's ugly teeth, the barracuda was released and swam away.

To Al, Bill, Jimmy and Terry, our fishing buddies: Barracuda behave much like Muskie. A long first run, then it weakens quickly. It also leaves the same kind of slime and stink on the deck!
